Finally ! Front Fence Added 09/01/2002 |
In December 1999 I was proud to be
included in the Artesia Mainstreet Project. This is the
largest project I've ever tackled. This fence is 100' in
length and 10' tall. Each individual fence panel has a
scene depicting the history that shaped Artesia. This
fence will now be a part of the history itself as this is
a monumental city wide restoration project. If you ever
have a chance to visit Artesia, New Mexico. Please visit
the Heritage Walkway. Being from Eddy County. I am
thrilled and honored to have the opportunity to work on
this project. This page loads kind of slow. Please take
the time to look at it. If you've been here before,
please go to the next page and watch us install it. Each
picture is linked to a larger version. Click on the Pictures to see them better. These are just a few of the scenes in this fence. As you can see oil played a vital roll in the history of Artesia. As well as the Indians, Settlers, Ranching, Farming, and the coming of the Railroad. Please
