Plum Good Plum Tart ![]()
3 cups pitted fresh plums
1 8oz. can unsweetened peaches
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup walnuts & 1/4 c. pine nuts
1 cup oat bran
Dash of nutmeg
Directions: Line a 9'pie plate with pie crust, spread 1/2 cup oat bran & walnuts on the bottom. Puree' plums in blender (skins included). pour into pie plate.
Drain peaches and arrange slices so they're evenly distributed over the plum puree'. Add brown sugar & nutmeg- sprinkle pine nuts and rest of oat bran over filling. Bake at 325 degrees for 40-50 minutes or until pie crust is golden brown. Serves 6Submitted by: Cindy Merrill
