Cowboy Chili ![]()
1 lb Lean Ground Beef
2 tsp Cumin, Ground
2 Cloves Pressed Garlic
1 Med. Chopped Onion
1 tsp Dry Oregano
1 tsp Salt
15 oz Can of Stewed Tomatoes
1/2 tsp Cayenne Powder
1 Cup Beef Bouillon
15 oz Canned Pinto Beans
2.5 Tbls Chili Powder
Crumble beef into a big stew pot.
Add the onion and garlic.
Cook over medium to high heat until meat is browned. Add everything else EXCEPT for the beans. Cover and simmer, stirring occasionally, for an hour and a half. Now add the beans and simmer another 30 minutes (add a bit of water if the chili gets too thick). Served with cornbread is nice!Submitted by: Valencia Gandara
