It Takes An Aggie
It seams that a young Texan decided his future lay in running the family farm. After much study he decided that Texas A & M, the Aggies, was the college for him. He applied and was accepted. He arrived on campus studied hard and became the top student in the agriculture department. As he studied he was always looking for the crop that would best suit the family farm. He graduated with top honors and returned home the pride of the agriculture department. His studies in college convinced him that chickens were the best hope for the family farm, but he ran into problems. Bewildered he contacted the head of the agriculture department and explained his problem in the following letter: Dear Sir, I am attempting to raise chickens and have had a terrible time of it. The first year I planted my chickens head up, but they all died. The next time I planted them head down. They all died. What am I doing wrong? The Head of the Department sent the following response. I don't know either, but if you sent us a soil sample maybe we can figure it out.
