Straw Houses
Here's the latest thing(s) going on here at Broken Spokes Mfg. I know. Its hard to believe. But I think this is gonna catch on down here. Susan (my sister in law) and her husband Jeff just recently purchased a farm up by Roswell. So they are building a house and a guest house up there. Out of straw no less. The more we help with this endeavor. The more I like the idea. The insulation factor alone is unreal. Anyway, all of the straw house pictures and plans we have seen. Have wood frame work. These are steel. (of course!) I will be adding pictures as these houses go up. Aside from the two houses Susan and Jeff are building. The next one built within the next year. With atleast 1 more to follow. I think I like them so much. I may have to have one myself. :)
